Masks of destiny

plague of laribus

the party headed to laribus to get the information from the sage fero. elan left the party and decided to stay with an acolyte of her church(the campaign is now ebberon by the way). after discovering that fero had been killed by a plague, the city was put in quarantine. they also learned that elan’s friend has been killed and she is missing. after a tavern full of commoners have been transformed into werewolves by a strange version of the plague. after escaping the inn, they were put in protective custody by the constable, kangran. cole was greeted by a vision that the cleric, Malchor is behind this. another swarm of werewolves attacks the jail and the players are forced to hold out in the prison until help arrived. when we left off, Laribus was preparing for war against malchor and his minions.

just an update

just going to go over the events in the campaign so far. the campaign began with the party hearing a tale about a merchant who hid his wealth in a cave that was later inhabited by a manticore. the bard who told thhe story offers to take the players to the cave. after fighting the manticore, they were saved from a chimera by a wizard named charilus. the wizard tasks the players with returning the mask to town. the party is ambushed by mercenaries who stole the mask. they then return to charilus empty handed. on a different adventure the party finds a mask similar. after killing its guardian, they meet up with charilus. he asks them to find information on the masks from a sage named Faro. this is where we left off. the party is going to the town of Laribus.

we are beginning the third chapter out of our campaign. after this we will only have fifteen to go. yay.
